I love yoga although I am not very good at it yet. I am very inflexible and it has helped me loosen up my muscles. My favorites are tree pose and child’s pose.
What a great giveaway – thank you!

I’ve been doing yoga since I was 14, and am now passing it on to my kids.

Reply

I love what yoga does for me – flexibility, calming, etc. But I hate doing it. I would rather be running. Although I have discovered that when I have a really good video that forces me to focus my experience is completely different. Maybe I just need to practice focus, rather than letting my mind wander as I am doing yoga. ;)

I LOVE yoga. I’ve been trying my best at living a yogic lifetstyle for the past five years (I’ve been doing asanas for 10 years). This lifestyle has led me into a more grounded and spiritual life. I don’t have any one of these three videos in my collection but I would love to have them ;-) Thank you for such a lovely and generous giveaway.

I love yoga. My favorite pose is between downward dog and the warrior pose – it depends on the day. Yoga helped me to recover from a bad car accident, deal with stress, get through a challenging pregnancy… and now, my kiddos love it too.

LOVE yoga! I’m so excited about this giveaway! I had my eye on Danielle Diomond’s DVD, but deciced it wasn”t a neccesity and I should save money. I’ve been out of my yoga routine latley and some new DVD’s would be great to spark things up again. Favorite pose? Thread the needle. It is so amazing for the tension in your shoulders, feels soooo good!:)

Love yoga, been practicing at home mostly- recently got into a class and took a class with hubby. Looking forward to integrating it into our family! I love seeing our sleeping kiddos in child’s pose! Thanks!

I used to take classes at a studio and loved it…I felt tingly all over when I was done. I haven’t done much yoga at home and would love to see if I can get the same feeling of loose energy.

Yoga comes to my life in fits and spurts, but when I am disciplined about it, I really notice the impact it has on strength and flexibility when I do other forms of exercise. And I always finish yoga feeling better than when I started, which is a great reward itself!

Love yoga and so do my kids! Down Dog is apparently very funny to the 1 and 3 year old crowds :-)

Reply

Absolutely love yoga! Have been practicing it for a while but I love how it always challenges me. My favorite pose lately is downward dog because I’m pregnant and it stretches out my back.

Reply

Catherine February 8, 2012 at 2:00 pm

I love yoga and do it twice a week. Favorite pose? Probably more a flow – sun salutation. The only thing about yoga is that I really need cardio most days of the week, and if I go to yoga, I don’ t feel like doing the cardio in addition to it. I don’t want to spend my whole life at the gym. :)

Reply

Kelly Lange February 8, 2012 at 2:07 pm

I love yoga; my favorite position is waterfall. In fact, I should do that pose now! I haven’t been able to get to classes for several years after having kids so maybe DVDs are a good solution. Thanks for a great giveaway!

Kathleen February 8, 2012 at 2:08 pm

Ah, yoga, one of my favorite ways to move my body. I’m a fan of flow yoga that leaves my body feeling tired. I love hip-openers and twists. I also love doing “full wheel” which always leaves me feeling so open (physically and emotionally). Would love these DVDs! Thanks for the giveaway!

I have been practicing and teaching Yoga for over 30 yrs. and it has certainly been a passion and a lifestyle. I have also enjoyed the community benefits of it as well. I would be a different person without having discovered it early in my life. Yoga puts me in touch with my body and spirit and gets me grounded.

I have been working out for years but as an athlete I have to admit that I have never done yoga. As I have entered my 40′s now my doctor says yoga will help reduce stress. I have been going to different sites to learn more about it and try to find the right fit for my active lifestyle. Hopefully I will find one soon and begin to feel the benefits I have read so much about.

I took a weekly local yoga class for a while and loved it. Now, a class just doesn’t fit my life schedule, but I try to practice with a DVD a few times a week – it’s very grounding and stress-relieving, as well as it keeps me stretched out and flexible.

A friend turned me on to yoga when I was in college and I ended up LOVING it! Since then, I have always found some form of yoga during different points in my life – class at my church (with the old ladies!), DVDs when I was pregnant, and now that we’ve joined the Y, I’m trying to get to their classes. But, DVDs at home are always a good, convenient way to to yoga!

Even though its difficult to get out of bed especially on cold mornings, sneaking out of the quiet dark house for a 6:00 am yoga class once per week has become really important to me. For the past year I’ve been working on inversions and can finally do a headstand unassisted. Its amazing how different the world looks from this perspective.

I got to know yoga during my year as an exchange student in the US. I had a video tape of Rodney Yee. Many years later, I enrolled in a yoga class when I was pregnant with our second child. And since then, I try to incorporate it into my day.But I still strugle with getting up early enough to have time to myself before our kids wake up. I’m in a rather depressive phase at the moment and I know that yoga would definitely help me to get better. Whenever I manage to get up early I do sun salutation. Great giveaway!

Reply

Aimee Jongejan February 8, 2012 at 5:12 pm

In years past I did yoga twice a day. I used to wake up every morning to Rodney Yee – great teacher! Then I got sick, really sick, and thought I couldn’t do it anymore. Now I realize that had I continued it would have been much better for me. I want to get back into it as when I practiced Yoga I had greater peace and centeredness in my life as well as less pain.

I used to really enjoy yoga years ago but it became expensive (for the classes) and difficult to make time for it. Now that I have a little one it would be really difficult to get to a yoga class but I never considered yoga DVDs. My favorite pose was downward dog, especially as I became more flexible. I hope I win!

I do a few minutes of yoga poses every morning (followed by warm water with lemon!) to wake up and make my muscles feel better. I’ve been practicing yoga on and off for years, although with twin boys it gets harder to fit into my schedule. I’d love to add more yoga variety and be able to do it at home more. The DVDs sound like a great way to help make that happen! Thanks for the great site!

I have taken a few yoga classes and I just didn’t enjoy being in the small space crammed next to everyone. Also, just didn’t resonate with the teacher- it didn’t feel inspiring. I have taken Qi-Gong for a year which I loved and was an avid runner for 14 yrs until injuring my knee. I would love to learn and practice yoga at home since I have always preferred exercise as a solo practice/ as time for myself/ meditative.

What a wonderful giveaway. I’ve done yoga for about 15 years, but only really committed to my practice a little over a year ago when my husband passed away. On my mat, I was able to find peace. Through the asanas, I found balance, strength and flexibility, in body, mind and spirit. The physical practice led me to study the philosophy of yoga, which taught me the beauty of the life all around me. Yoga is a huge part of my daily life, and I am always looking to learn from and be inspired by new teachers.
