Heart Food
Was inspired by Soulemama’s post to name the gifts we are enjoying right now in our lives. Might you take a moment and name 10 things, right now– blessings and gratitudes in your life?
I tend to keep “wanting” to do that daily journal of what I’m grateful for…but I hold off to buy the right journal, or wait till I have a few moments at the end of the day, or hope I wake up before the kids…all little ways to push it off. When I scratched these out in the moment, it was wonderful.
{{Grateful for mending hearts with my husband after a difficult week. Three little ones strewn across each other and sleeping in late on my bed. Morning smoothies. Sun drenched tea. Gorgeous blue sky day on the horizon. Soul friends heading in for a visit from another coast. Picking up a random book from the library and enjoying the read. Feet beginning to roughen up as summer sets in. Brown rice, kale and eggs for breakfast. Grass growing in our backyard.}}
