Your article was so well written I had to say thank you! I went through a very difficult time a couple years ago over the issue on needing others approval/not saying no. With time, I can be confident that people will still like me if I say no and to ME on that list of things to care for. It was really nice to read about it again and remind myself of where I have been and how far I have come. It is bliss to recognize it now.
